Prophetic Dream

DREAM of the 2 BOATS

Something that I take very serious is when children receive
something from the Lord. As it says in Acts and Joel, “in the last
days the children will prophesy…”.

About 6 weeks ago our daughter, who is 12 yrs old, woke up one
morning and told us about a dream she had that night. It was a
“strong” dream. One of those dreams that is so very real and vivid.
The kind that you remember clearly and in detail, and that leaves
a very strong impression. As it turns out, it was clearly a prophetic dream.

In her dream she saw two ships. But these ships were as though
they were flying through the air. The one ship, were she was on,
was a raggedy old ferry boat. Instead of seatbelts people were
strapped to their old seats with rope. There was a captain on the
ferry who was kind yet strong and firm. While telling everyone to
hang on tightly, and that the ride would be tough and not an easy
ride, he kept assuring them with a great confidence that he would
bring them safely to their destination.

The other ship was a fancy cruise ship. Both ships were going
side by side, but at a distance. She could see the people clearly
as she looked over to the cruise ship. Some of them were her
friends from church. They were not sitting in any seats or wearing
seatbelts. Instead they were dancing and laughing while on a
large party deck.

Once in a while both ships would come together, side by side,
while drifting through the air. Our daughter called over to her friends
on the cruise ship telling them that they must come over onto her
ferry boat because the party ship was the wrong ship.

But there was also a captain on the cruise ship. He had scary
eyes, and whenever our daughter would call her friends he would
look straight at her and his eyes were evil. He then would turn to
the people on his ship and say, “Don’t listen to them, they are
just jealous that you are having so much fun. You are on the right
ship where the fun is."

Then the two ships drifted apart again and she could only see the
cruise ship at a distance. When they came together again one of
her friends finally listened and jumped over onto her ferry boat.
After they had drifted apart once more, the captain told everyone
on the ferry to hold on, “it’s going to get rough.” Large meteor-like
rocks came flying toward them but the captain was able to safely
dodge each and everyone.

Suddenly and without warning, the cruise ship, which was at a
distance, dropped downward and completely disappeared.

Fourth blog update Jan. 9. 2010: Sunday service prayer meeting in the Methodist Church.

I was invited to speak in the United Methodist Church in Bacoor (Philippines) the last Sunday before New Year. I have been preaching in many Methodist churches in the Philippines, but this church I will (almost) consider as our home church in the Philippines. And I know the Pastor from our past crusades and gospel miracle meetings in the Philippines three years ago. I can just add that even though I basically grew up in an evangelical Pentecostal environment, I do not consider myself attached with any strings to a certain church denomination. In my family we have people from many different churches; Evangelical, Salvation Army, Pentecostal, Methodist, Brethren Church, Lutheran, and we all have faith in Jesus Christ and this is the most crucial and important thing. Now back to the Sunday Service! I was told to speak on the subject of intercessory prayer. This was a special prayer Sunday in the church. All the benches in the church were put aside for people to have a place to pray! And from the beginning of the service everybody kneeled down in prayer. Young and old got dirty knees on their nice Sunday clothes in prayer to our heavenly father. It was powerful to witness and be a part of. I don't remember when I last saw a church (whole church) kneeling in prayer like this. It was very humbling to see rich, poor and influential people kneeling side by side. The church attendees were instructed by Pastor Gideon to pray for different areas.

This Sunday morning I was unusually tired and I mean really tired. (Very late hangout with my wife's family the evening before) and I was physically not ready to preach but I have been taught to "be always ready to preach, in season and out of season! And I could only do one thing and that was to ask the Holy Spirit to take total control of me and empower me and speak through me. I died to myself many times this morning before preaching. I was whispering "Come Holy Spirit". Not until I was standing up on the stage did I feel God's Holy Presence in a very powerful way. I felt a supernatural boldness to preach and was empowered with divine energy! I gave some examples of prayer and mission in the Bible and the importance of having a real deep fellowship with God's Spirit on a daily basis. The Words were on fire and people were touched. After the sermon I gave an altar-call for those who wanted personal prayer for different situations. When people started to come forward God's Holy Spirit fell in a dramatic way on those coming forward. I don't see any fuss in people falling under prayer, but in this service it was kind of different. People started to fall without anyone praying for them and they were falling forward hitting the ground flat on their faces on top of each other! There were no "catchers" behind or in front of any one. God's Holy Spirit was just moving. It was a great time of prayer in a great church full of great people!

Camera healed! (update)

the way to Dumaguete we had to take a boat and on the boat I dropped the camera on the floor and I immediately checked it but the screen was not working any more. It only worked on one mode. I checked all the functions and checked the "off screen" button but it did not work. So we were pretty sure that our camera was broken once again (last time in Ethiopia!) then in the end of our Gospel Miracle Crusade meeting at Aroma Beach Resort, my wife Abby was checking the camera again and she clicked all the buttons again and suddenly it worked! And the screen was totally sharp and working on all modes. And it still works, really weird. Hmm maybe it got healed! I don't know, but it is definitely a possibility and now it works! I had a similar experience with another item in Kosovo, Europe. You can read that in my old blog posts here on the site.

Third blog update Jan. 1. 2010: Early next morning Pastor Robert drove us to the port in Cebu where we took the Oceanjet ferry to Dumaguete City. This week has been unforgettable. We have seen so many things and experienced so much. A thing that was kind of funny was that I was told that I was such a "young evangelist" and they expected me to be old and gray haired! They were very surprised to see a young evangelist hehe. Let me be clear that I have nothing against old gray haired evangelists/preachers, but it is a problem in that there are so few younger evangelists. Well I could write a lot about this issue, but not this time. Later!

We arrived Tuesday at lunch time at the place our gospel miracle crusade would be. It's in a beach resort! We had a meeting with the church board and meeting committee where we planned our outreach in their place. This place is in a very remote place on Dumaguete Island, the town is called Manjuyod. Many small villages are surrounding the beach resort. In the evening we walked to a small village with a lot of small native-built houses among coconut trees, banana trees, mango trees, papaya trees and sugar canes. It was like in a village in the jungle, next to the beach! We ate our dinner in one of the houses of our team-members. The next couple of days we had relaxation in the beach. Enjoying the warm ocean and cold Mango shakes.

After a few days of relaxation it is now time for the Friday Gospel Miracle Crusade meeting. The crusade was hosted by the "His Life Ministries Church" and was held in an "open church" (no walls!) the name of the church is Aroma chapel in Aroma Beach Resort. This is the first time we are having an evangelistic meeting on the beach! No one were really sure about how many would attend, but 450-500 people attended the powerful service this very warm evening. Before the meeting a Tricycle (Motorcycle) had been driving around in the small village promoting the event. The service started with great worship inspired from Hillsong worship. Then Pastor Jonas welcomed everybody and Dave Holm from our team gave a testimony. And now it was my turn to preach the gospel. And as usual we had a "healing time" for the sick and as usual God healed some as well. After healing the sick and prayer I preached the full hard hitting gospel of Jesus Christ. The response was amazing. Around 150 people responded in faith to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord.

Right after the service we gave out rice to hundreds of people and slippers for the kids. Everybody was happy and blessed with the Christmas gifts from Angel Relief.

The next morning we planned to have a day off. So we decided to go to a place called "White Sand Bars" not far away from the resort. It was an amazing beautiful place. See picture! The Philippines has some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. White Sand Bars were located in the middle of the ocean! Great place to relax! In the evening we were invited to eat with the resort owner. By the way we stayed for free in the resort, because the owner was a christian. Our dinner was Malunggay, a special herb soup in the Philippines and one of my favorites. It is very energetic. The next morning I was scheduled to preach in Aroma Chapel at the Sunday service. It was another very powerful service. I was told after the services in this place that I looked like a Hollywood actor....and that I should hire an agent in the Philippines. Hehehe. That must be a joke hehe.

Second blog update Dec. 26. 2009: Early next morning on Sunday I had to preach in the church of Pastor Robert. The church is located in the "Drop-In Center", Pastor Robert's ministry of feeding the homeless street children. The service started with worship song and testimonies of Dave, Iryn and my wife Abby. Then after I gave a message about the great commission and our relationship with the Holy Spirit and how important it is to stay in a close relationship with God in His Presence. After the service we went to lunch and then time for preparing the last "Gospel Miracle Crusade" night in Lapu Lapu City.

The evening crusade seemed like the other night, just a little fewer with around 3000 attendees at the mall parking lot area this time. However because of the shopping mall, people who were just Christmas shopping would "accidentally" suddenly be a part of an evangelistic gospel meeting! Numbers in the place like this is difficult to count. Most important thing is the salvation of the soul of each individual.

In the first section of the crusade with the "Healing Time" many appeared to be healed from back pain and migraine and other physical sickness that has to be confirmed by a doctor right after I preached the full gospel with boldness! (I will try add the script for one of my sermons later).

I love preaching the gospel, but sometimes it can be a dangerous and difficult task. Because the full gospel of Jesus Christ is a radical messages about repentance and conversion to Jesus Christ; the ONE and ONLY way to God. Salvation is the most important thing for every soul in this world. I have been preaching this radical message in Africa, Europe and the Philippines and without the fire from the Holy Spirit I could not do it! Salvation is the greatest miracle and when I called people up for salvation hundreds of people came up in front. AMEN!

After the gospel miracle crusade meeting we gave out hundreds of kilos of rice once again. This night there were actually more rice because of some friends of Pastor Robert donated 8 sacks of extra rice. This was the last crusade meeting in Lapu Lapu, Cebu and it has been very inspiring, learning and fulfilling to be a part of what God is doing here in Cebu area.

The next day on Monday we were scheduled to visit a public school and speak to all the students. When we arrived some of the church workers were preparing the stage in the school yard setting up loudspeakers and microphones. It was 3pm and 1800 children came out on the school yard in the burning hot sun. The service started with some children worship and then the children workers had a dance. Then all the kids had to repeat bible verses. Then it was my turn to tell Bible stories and I tell you, the kids were alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic! When almost 2000 kids screams at the same time, it is high volume! After the service all the kids got a meal.

In the evening we had a great dinner at Pastor Robert and Sara's place. We had "Bicol Express" and Filipino style spring rolls among other things. It was great. I ate three portions of original Filipino Express which is very spicy. I love it...

First blog update Dec. 23. 2009: Thursday morning Abby and I arrived in Mactan International Airport with the airplane from Manila. (Capital of the Philippines). Mactan is part of Cebu. We were about to do ministry in Lapu Lapu City near the airport. We were pretty tired when we arrived and Pastor Robert Cuenca brought us to the Pension House which would be our accommodation for five days. Later this day I was scheduled to speak to the Pastors Fellowship in this city. I gave them a word about the importance to preach and teach the full gospel and preach it with boldness. In the evening we went to Cebu City to pray for a Pastor and church planter from Mindanao. He was in a public hospital in Cebu City due to kidney problems. After meeting with the church planter we ate dinner then went home to our pension house.

The next morning on Friday we drove to the "Feeding the Children Drop-In Center" in central Lapu Lapu City. When we arrived there were already many of the pastors and church volunteers helping with repacking the rice in 3 kg. bags each. We had bought 22 sacks of rice with 50 kg in each. All the rice was to be given in our open air evening crusade by the mall! Some local christian businessmen added 8 extra sacks of rice so that the total give out of rice was 30 sacks. After helping with the rice packing, it was now time to join the feeding program in the "Drop-In Center" for the homeless street children in the area. There came around 50 homeless street children to the feeding program this day. It was great talking to some of the kids and see the compassion for the poorest of the poorest. I gave Pastor Robert some awesome evangelism tracts. They are made like "million dollar" bills with the gospel explained on the back. They look really real! It was great fun. After the Children Feeding Program we went back to our Pension House again to prepare for the evening Gospel Miracle Healing Crusade. It was really warm this first day of the crusade. Prior to the crusade in Cebu it had rained really hard in the days up to this event, but now the sun was hot and the skies were clear. The Evangelistic meetings were held on an open street area behind a mall on a parking lot! This is the first time we have ever had an evangelistic outreach on a public parking lot! This was as much street preaching as it could be. Pastor Robert and his great team of Pastors from other churches and denominations had prepared a big stage with lights, sounds and room for a band there in the middle of the parking lot by the mall. There was also a huge banner that told everyone that this was a Gospel Miracle Crusade.

Before the crusade meeting we made it almost a "tradition" to drink a very delicious Mango shake from Brutus cafe in the Mall. At 6pm the crusade started with the worship team singing Hill song Worship theme songs. The big speaker were blasting the worship songs all over the area. As expected just around 500 people came to the first outreach meeting. Some people experienced a physical miracle and healing (salvation) to their soul (we got a report the day after). The central gospel message I preached that night was the life of Christ and His Saving power. After the service we gave out a lot of rice to the people and everybody got some. It was a very warm evening, and I was preaching in a full suit! I was sweaty wet after the service! After the healing service we went to Jollibee (like McDonald), to get a small dinner and then after we went to the Pension House very tired.

The next morning on Saturday we went to the dumpsite village to give out food and have a children service. Pastor Robert and his team do this every week. Thousands of children are receiving food every week in different villages in Lapu Lapu. At this time we are already very amazed about all the humanitarian work and evangelistic outreach in the dumpsite area. The whole dumpsite area is very poor. There are trash everywhere and the house are made of plastic, metal, bamboos, paper, wood or anything than can make a cover for the night. When we arrived at the "Feeding Center" , there were 285 kids inside the Native building. It was incredible watching hundreds of kids jumping and singing to the worship. I gave some Bible stories and the kids thought it was fun! Then after the service all the kids were given cans of sardines, noodles and rice for their families and then they all got a nutritional meal for lunch. The children were so happy. These church workers are making a world of difference each day in preaching the gospel and feeding the poor. And this is all what our Angel Relief program is all about. Reaching our to the poorest in this world and this place with this precious kids is a place we definitely want to go back to. We said goodbye to all the kids and went back to Lapu Lapu City to prepare for tonight crusade by the mall.

The crusade meeting started at 6pm and when we arrived there were already thousands of people there on the parking lot! Before the crusade we had our "mandatory" mango shake in Brotus. According to Pastor Robert, "the best mango shake in Lapu Lapu". The whole parking lot area was packed with thousands standing or sitting. And throughout the service around 5000 people were listening to the gospel message. My friend Dave Holm gave a genius clear testament and explanation of salvation. After the testimony time, I started to preach. First I talked about Jesus Christ as Lord, Masters and Healer of sickness and then made an alter-call to "Heal the Sick". And glory and honor to Jesus Christ people got healed and delivered. After the healing service we heard that some who came from shopping in the mall was there on the parking lot and got healed! After the "healing service" I preached the full gospel about salvation, hell, repentance, forgiveness and eternal life. And hundreds of people responded to the call for salvation. After the crusade we gave out hundreds of kilos of rice like the evening before. Some were crying when they got their rice. Really touching to see the joy in their faces. After the healing service and feeding program / Rice Christmas Give Away we went back the Pension House.

Where did the gospel go? A must read article!

A Desperate World in Need of the Pure Gospel!

The world is in deep trouble!

Billions of people are living in poverty around the world. About 2.8 billion people are living on less than two dollars a day. Millions are dying from starvation and diseases in the Third World. The global financial crisis has caused millions to lose their home and the world has probably just seen the beginning of a major global crisis that not even the financial experts could have foretold. The threat of nuclear war is hanging in the air and the most powerful nations of the globe are fighting for the last reserves of oil.

While some families can’t even afford a single meal on the table each day, others are addicted to drugs, gambling and alcohol. Millions in the west are so mentally depressed that they try to escape this world of loneliness in alcohol, drugs, perversions and suicide. The world is screaming for help and solutions for a messed up society that has nothing to offer but endless talk shows and online entertainment.

People are seriously desperate for finding a deeper meaning, hope and inner peace.This world seems to have everything to offer, but in reality is more out of control morally and spiritually than ever.I can boldly say that this world needs the full gospel message of Jesus Christ. Not another sermon or conference about self happiness, but the pure full gospel of salvation. That is the one and only thing that can bring peace to the mind and restore the soul.

But how sad it is that the preaching of the full gospel has been downgraded to some cultural light gospel show with fancy stage performance and blinking lights! Where are the full gospel preachers who dare to stand up for the truth, whodareto preach salvation, hope, hell, holiness and grace. Where are those who proclaim that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven?

The problem is that millions of people have been deceived and blinded with a feel good gospel, a light lukewarm message that only talks about happiness, prosperity, self-development and "me, me and me” instead of "Him, Him and Him!”

Where did the gospel go?

Is today’s modern church really afraid of teaching the full living gospel? Is it afraid of being politically incorrect and offending the masses? Many churches are on a very dangerous path. A path that will only lead to possible destruction. Let me point out, that if there is no gospel message of sin, grace, repentance and salvation there is zero!

And while thousands of churches are playing "seeker sensitive churches” and being politically correct, millions of non-believers are screaming for spiritual truth that can give them real hope and reality based on the word of God. The truth of the gospel will set them free, but if there is no one preaching the truth of the gospel, many will go to hell, believing in a different gospel (2 Corinthians 11:3-4) (Galatians 1:6-7) . That is the hard facts. A very good place to read and study what Jesus is saying is in Matthew chapter 24. Jesus mentions here in chapter 24 that many will be deceived by false prophets and teachers.

It is so easy for self-proclaimed prophets to make up weird crazy doctrines and get thousands of followers, because in many churches there is a great lack of Christian discipleship based on the word of God. The focus on Jesus and his teaching and discipleship has been replaced with "feel-good teachings” that totally lacks the important teachings about repentance, sin, hell, grace and holiness.

On a five week mission trip to Ethiopia recently I was scheduled to speak in different churches. In my sermon preparation I felt a deep conviction to preach and focus more on the gospel that Jesus taught and His life, more than I had ever done before. And the pastors and local evangelists were amazed and almost shocked by the clear gospel teaching, because they were not used to that!

We have to remember that the gospel is what sets us free. We need to bring the full gospel back in our churches, mission fields and to a desperate seeking world. There is only one hope and that is Jesus Christ. We have to renew our passion for being in the presence of Jesus. We must take up our cross and lay down our lives and follow Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We must renew our minds daily in God’s presence. We must study the life of Jesus and the Word of God and let it become part of us, inside out.

The living word of God will change your life and you will see its powerful effects, and not only will you be empowered by his Word, the world around you will experience the saving and healing power of Jesus Christ. Make the gospel the focus of your life and ministry and tell others as well.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 25

Last service in Africa, but we will be back! + reflections.

This Sunday both Abby and I were scheduled to speak in the new baptist church in Addis Adaba, lead by Filipino missionary, Pastor Elijah Alvaro. We came early because Abby was going to speak to a lot of kids and I was going to take pictures. So I thought! But when we came I realized that they even expected me to speak to the older kids as well! Well, I have learned to be ready in season and out of season, so I gave the kids a bible lesson about Jesus. As I was doing my lesson (drama..:) I could hear a lot of kids in the yard next to the room I was in, shouting and dancing and I realized that it was my wife who was teaching the kids different games. I don't know any games or kids' songs here....so I guess everybody should have just been in Abby's Sunday school class!

I also preached in the main Sunday Service. And after the service we got real Filipino food....yes, I like it a lot! We appreciate the warm welcome we got in this church and we pray that this church will experience supernatural growth and favor. This was our last service in Ethiopia this time. But we will hopefully be back in Africa soon. Maybe for crusades in Kenya as well.

Thank you for reading this blog. In the past 37 days we have been reaching out to thousands of people in one of the poorest countries on earth. We have left a mark and we believe that what has been started and planted will grow and be very fruitful. Busy Sunday!

This morning we gave out 200 notebooks and pens to children in a church in Adama, MKC North. We came early to the church but there were already children everywhere and the church became full fast. My interpreter was Mr. Alemu Checole. He is Ethiopian but very fluent in English. He had been blind since he was 8 years old because of eye infection but still he had achieved so much in life. He is now 66 years old and it was truly inspiring and a blessing to meet him. The children's service started with very energetic singing. I have never heard children sing so loud anywhere else in the world! It was amazing. I told some bible stories about Jesus and prayed a prayer for everybody. After the singing and the stories, all the children got notebooks and pens. It was fun and amazing to minister to these children, Abby and I felt really blessed.

In the evening we went back to the same church for a youth meeting. MKC North is a very old evangelical church, it is actually the first in Ethiopia and it has many, many branches. It has 26000 members in this area and still growing! It was supposed to be a youth meeting this evening but people of all ages showed up! I was preaching about the great commission in Mark 16. And God is going to do something powerful. My interpreter was Akeya, whom we had to encourage many times to translate but he only did it for the first time today. But he did an amazing job!

Just a little side story about the church...in the dark communist ages, the church building was confiscated by the government and they tried to cover a painting with the cross in the church. But they failed because it was made in a special way, indented deep in the wall. Another amazing thing was the growth of the church at that time. Before the building was confiscated they had 500 members. But when they became underground, they did it in small groups. When the church emerged, they had grown 10-fold!

Special Extra: My wife got sick and well again!

Abby woke up around 2am in the morning with a severe headache and stomach pain. And it continued into the day. We were supposed to meet with Pastor Daniel Makonne (Founder of GospelLightChurch) and our good friend evangelist Henock D. Mulugeta from Washington D.C. for a lunch meeting down town. But Abby was too weak to join me and her mom promised to look after her, so I went out in the African wilderness by myself……it is not as bad as it sounds! Hehe. I caught an India imported taxi (scooter with three wheels) and paid completely overpriced for my ride…. After 25 min I arrived at Safari Lodge were I was going to meet with the Pastors. And from there we went to Rift Valley to have our lunch meeting. I met with Pastor Daniel, Henock and the worship leader of GospelLightChurch, Henock Hailu. It was truly inspiring to talk with all of them and see their heart for Ethiopia, global gospel outreach and even the Philippines. These guys are truly pioneers for the gospel of Jesus Christ and are making an impact on thousands of people. Later Henock D. Mulugeta . gave my wife some stomach medicine for food poison and then we prayed for her as well. And God is good. She feels much better already (Saturday).

Gospel Miracle Service

Today I was scheduled to speak in a church in Nazareth. (MKC North) Our translator and Nazareth guide Akeya Zeleke helped us on the way to the church, which was not far from AdamaUniversity where we are staying. When we came to the church in the evening hundreds of people were on their knees praying! I was told that people had been praying since 4pm. And they had a special prayer time for all the sick. There were even carpets laying around in the church chapel where the sick were laying on. Just before I was speaking all electricity went out! So the church had to start their electricity generator so we could get light again. There is a lot of brown out and shortage of electricity in Nazareth, and churches like this one need an electricity generator. There were around 400 inside the chapel and about 100 more outside sitting on benches! It was a great gospel miracle service and many experienced a touch from God both spiritually and physically. After the service we went straight home.

The insect bite still hurts in my right arm as I write this, but more about this later! The first living creature I saw this morning (aside from Abby!) when I went out the door was a big black and white monkey looking at me through the glass door.

At 9:30am we had to go to Pastor Jon Coronel's church, Liberty Baptist Mission, where I was scheduled to preach. There were exactly 133 attendees at the service and many new comers. This is a new, powerful church. The church is offering free English, computer, and bible classes. There is a lot of young people in the church, most of whom came from far distances and walked many miles (they started walking at around 6am) just to go to church. I will not be surprised if this church becomes much larger and influence the town on a much larger scale, both spiritually and socially.

After lunch we went to a very poor village, which was very difficult to access. We were bouncing around in our pick-up truck. Hagugeta Kudnhi (the village) had been hit hard by hunger and malnutrition. Many children had died because of it. We brought 700 kilos of wheat, food for about 185 families. We also brought notebooks, pencils, and cookies for the kids.

When we came to the village, we saw lots of mud houses and lots of kids running after our truck. I was stunned to see thousands of very poor people gathered in one place. All the people had gathered because they knew we were coming. Pastor Jon was the one who organized this meeting. He has been to this village many times because he is ministering to the people.

Before we gave out the wheat, I first told the people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. There were about 2500 adults and kids sitting on the ground listening to the gospel. Suddenly a small group of Muslims left because it was time for their prayer. Only, they went to the mud house 15 meters away and prayed very loud! But I continued to preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ even louder! I was later told that many Muslims actually stayed to listen. At the end, I prayed for everybody and I truly believe that God¡¯s word was planted in thousands of people this afternoon.

When it was time to give out the wheat, all the families lined up and received their portion, which is good for about two weeks, I was told. The village appreciated the wheat very much because we were told that it was the very first time that someone came to give them food. It was very touching to see their needs. It was all done in a very orderly manner and I was impressed by the organizational skills of the leaders. When I was giving out the bags of wheat, I suddenly felt a sting in my right bicep and the pain spread to my shoulder and down my arm. It swelled up a bit and the pain stayed the rest of the day and even a little the next day. I don¡¯t know what bit me, maybe a wasp, even though I was wearing long sleeves. And then it was time to give out the notebooks and pens and cookies to the kids. It was a little more difficult to keep the kids in line. Abby and her sister were giving out the school things and then suddenly all the adults wanted to get some as well. People, adults and kids alike, started pushing forward because they wanted to be in front. The sisters almost got mobbed so we all had to go to the mud house office and hide there while the village officials tried to get things in order. But it didn¡¯t seem like they had much success so we just left the school things in the office to be distributed by the officials at a later time.

So we left the village and said goodbye to everybody and we went to the creek where the villagers get their drinking water. It was so shocking I tell you. The water was brown and very dirty, almost like mud. And people were washing their clothes there and taking a bath there¡¦and that is where they get their drinking water as well! Pastor Jon has a vision for a clean water station for this place.

Abby and I agree that this has been one of the most extreme experiences we have ever had. The Coronel family¡¯s passion for the lost is really inspiring. Again, thanks to all those who supported us because you have helped make this trip possible. The ones who dare win!

Today we are scheduled to go to Shashemene. Pastor Jon, a Filipino missionary, drove all the way to Adama to pick us up. He left Shashemene at around 4am and got to us around 7:30am. On our way we saw acres of wasted corn. The people were not able to harvest because of the dry season. The corn just dried up. Such a waste. It was like a desert.

We stopped at Sabana Resort at Langano for lunch. The view was fantastic. On the road to the resort we encountered very heavy traffic. Not vehicles¡¦¡¦animals! Hundreds of cows, donkeys, and goats. They were on their way down to the lake for a drink. The animals were sharing the lake with the resort. The water was brown and green and murky. Some people were still swimming though.

After lunch we went on our way. Let me emphasize the amount of dust we had to go through. Our car was originally red but at this time it became gray. We also went to Shashemene¡¯s open market. Open means open – in the middle of a huge open space. To the left are those selling goats, to the right are those selling horses. You can even try out the horses before you buy them. There are those selling sugar canes, firewood, vegetables, and even second-hand shoes! It was really cool to see it – the real Ethiopia, not the city. I can just imagine the scene looked just like in Jesus¡¯ time.

Finally we reached Pastor Jon¡¯s place. There we finished packing the wheat we¡¯re going to give out to the villagers tomorrow. They started re-packing yesterday. We bought 700 kilos of wheat. It was soooo heavy. The poor donkey that carried the sacks almost died of exhaustion. I¡¯m not exaggerating; it collapsed outside the gate and had to be helped inside. We are also going to give out notebooks and cookies for the kids. AND I also dropped our new, small camera and broke it. Thank goodness we brought another one, lent to us by Kuya Jotham from FCC. I promise to take very good care of it and not drop it.

Tomorrow is going to be really exciting.

Today we were invited to preach the gospel in a house church which was just newly planted. There were about 80 people cramped in the tiny room, but it was a great experience. When we arrived at the house church, everybody was on their knees praying. And without any instruments at all and no sound system, they were worshiping God in an amazing way. I have been preaching in house churches before so it was not unfamiliar to me, but it was always fun preaching next to a refrigeratorJ. I was preaching about Jesus Christ and His saving and healing power. And many experienced an encounter with God. We believe this church will experience massive growth and revival. This meeting was held in Nazreth and the church was a branch of MKC East.

Revival Meetings in Addis!

Today Abby and I drove once again from Nazareth (Adama) to the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. I was scheduled to speak at a revival conference conducted by different church denominations together with Evangelist Henock. D. Mulugeta. The coordinator of the conference was Yonathan. There were thousands of people to the meetings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday morning Henock preached a great gospel centered message and there was an amazing atmosphere of worship. Later in the afternoon I preached a message about salvation in Jesus Christ and the promises of healing in the Bible. There was a great response and many were prayed over and some were healed as well. Again the worship was awesome.

On Sunday I was scheduled to preach at the morning service. The church was packed and the gospel worship choir led the crowd into powerful worship and the presence of God. I preached a message about the promises of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Very powerful service and God’s presence and power fell on many. It was truly a blessing to see the hunger for experiencing more of Jesus and His presence and saving and healing power. In the afternoon Henock Mulugeta preached the gospel and he led the congregation into worship as well. These couple of days with revival meetings had been truly awesome and full of God’s glory. Abby and I really enjoyed being a part of it. All honor to Jesus. We went back to our ‘base?in Nazareth (Adama) in the late afternoon. We met some great people during these days and especially we want to thank Yonathan and Henock for this great opportunity for being part of this revival conference and three great days in Addis.

Evangelistic Meetings and Humnitarian Relief

Early this morning we met with Akeya Zeleke who is helping us with going around the churches in Adama. We went to a prayer meeting with 12 local evangelists from Nazreth. I came to give an encouraging message. When we arrived, they were all praying on their knees in a little room. I could really sense God’s presence when we walked into the room. I shared some word from the Bible and prayed with them and for them as well. It was inspiring to meet these evangelists and church leaders. Our main contacts were Evangelists Workineh Ayele and Gishu Gebecha from Mehal Adama Meserete Kristos Church (MKC). Evangelist Gishu Gebecha was my translator. Their passion to spread the gospel was amazing.

At 2:00pm we went to a Christian orphanage, also in Adama. It was situated in a very poor neighborhood with no main road. There were about 54 kids. The name of the orphanage is Yosef Yeljoch Bet or Joseph Children’s Home. I told them bible stories and we gave out food and toothbrushes. It was a great experience and it was a blessing to be a blessing.

At 6:30pm we went back to MKC East to speak at a worship healing service. The Ethiopian worship was awesome and hundreds of people were shouting and dancing in the worship. I talked about Jesus and His saving and healing power. In the end I had a prayer for everybody. A lady also got delivered from witchcraft. MKC East is a great church and we made some new friends as well.

Outreach In Addis

We spent Saturday and Sunday in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. It’s about 2 hours away from Adama where we are based. Saturday, we explored the city and the family celebrated Abby’s birthday in a Filipino friend’s house. Sunday we visited a Filipino missionary who has planted a church in Addis. I was invited to speak to the youth group of the church, BereanBaptistChurch. There were about 60 lively young people and I challenged them to follow Christ and talked about the value of the soul and that Jesus is the only answer. The church’s vision is to open up a technical school for the poor and we will continue to pray for them. After the service we went straight home to Adama on a public bus where I spent the whole trip holding tightly to my seat as the driver seems to think he owns the road.

September 24, 2008 Wednesday

We officially woke up at 5am. Frankfurt airport starting to get busy. Our flight leaves at 10:15am. Had a stop-over at Khartoum, Sudan. The land was brown, dry, and very warm. I tried to take a picture from the plane's open door. Two guys warned me not to do it because the soldiers will come and take away my camera if they saw me. Arrived in Addis Ababa 30 minutes earlier than expected. It took a while to have our turn in passport control because people kept cutting in line. Finally managed to get out. Abby's parents and one Filipino missionary were waiting for us outside. So excited to see them. Addis Ababa reminds me of the Philippines. Had to drive an hour and a half to Adama, which will be our base. Had to drive up and down the mountains. Thank God for a wonderful journey.

This is the beginning of our journey to Ethiopia, Africa. Before it even began we have been showered with blessings. We took the Grayhound bus from Malmo to Copenhagen airport because one free ticket arrived in the mail two days ago. We've brought so many gifts and give-aways that we had to take off three kilos of our own stuff from our suitcases. We were able to check-in early but the guy can only check us in 'til Frankfurt but he managed to send our luggage all the way to Ethiopia. I do hope it would be there when we arrive because we still need to spend the night in Frankfurt. Our flight left exactly on time and we also reached Frankfurt 20 minutes earlier than expected.

In Frankfurt, we went directly to the transit counter and the nice lady checked us in for our flight to Addis Ababa and she gave us nice seats too, in front with lots of leg room. She also gave us directions on where we can find nice, comfy chairs to lay on. I guess we weren't good enough in folllowing directions because we walked around for an hour but couldn't find the nice, comfy chairs. So we just ate dinner (we were so hungry, no food in the plane) and camped inside a cafe. It's a reasonably ok place because it was a little dark and offered us a little privacy. The benches weren't very comfortable though so we spent half the night awake and preparing sermons.

ANGELS ARE ALL AROUND US!

This is a testimony to God's miracle working power and that angels are true... Yesterday we were involved in a car accident in Sweden, near the bridge to Denmark. As many of you know I am a "tent-maker evangelist" making a living by being a health care assistant in Copenhagen, Denmark. And my wife and I were on our way back to Sweden where we live. Just after the Oresund Bridge and toll gates I lost control of the car on the highway (interstate). I did not drive above speed limit, but I was tired from working and therefore lost concentration. However Jesus was with us in the car! After making some spinning on the highway and the car flipping over a couple of times, we "landed" in the middle of the highway where the two directions are separated by grass. When the car stopped flipping around, I told Abby to get out because I saw smoke from the engine and broken glass everywhere. We got out and was totally shocked and very surprised that nothing happened to us. We were checking ourselves and we were ok, but very shaken. We noticed the car was totally damaged and called 112. Two big trucks from the fire department came and the man in charge told us that it was a miracle that nothing happened to us. The police said as well that it was a miracle and that "angels must be watching over you". The only thing I remember Abby said during the spinning and flipping was Lord Jesus, Lord, Lord! And He was indeed with usI Thanks and praise to God!

Below here is Abby's story:

We just had a car accident yesterday at around 10:20 in the morning. We just came from Copenhagen, Peter worked Sunday night and I slept over at Ate Minnie's place. Anyway, we just passed the toll gate to Sweden...after about a minute I looked up from my bag, noticed we were about to hit a post on the right side, Peter tried to avoid it and turned left..but the car turned too much left...so he steered the car to the right...the car spun around...slid to the left lane...we hit the grass and the car flipped on its back and slid a few meters then flipped the right way again. And how did we fare in all these....shocked but unscathed...no scratch at all. The car was destroyed but not us. God saved us...he definitely did. A lot of worse things could have happened but they didn't. For some reason we were the only car on the road so we didn't hit anyone else. It was a miracle considering there were always a lot of cars...and trucks...big trucks passing that road. It was also a miracle that we didn't hit and damage any highway properties like posts and fences...or we would have paid a BIG fine. The best miracle...we didn't get hurt. And you know what? I knew even in the middle of spinning and flipping that we would end up ok. I actually felt peace within me and I knew even before we stopped that the Lord would not let us get hurt. Isn't that amazing? Two firetrucks came, the police, and the highway people. They all said it was a miracle and police said we have angels watching over us. This definitely covers it: Psalm 91

An unusual miracle!

Be inspired and empowered in your daily living.

God is ready to meet our needs at any time, we just have to look around and look for opportunities! We can choose to surrender our life to God and see His hand move and help us in a supernatural way and bless our socks off! I believe in everyday miracles, small and big, but remember to be totally surrounded by Him in anything. Keep your eyes on the master of creation and you will be blessed when you least expect it!

When I was on a mission and relief trip to Kosovo in the former Yugoslavia in Europe just after the war was "over", we experienced many miracles. We were a small team of Danish and Americans going to Kosovo to help the few local Christians and their friends build up buildings destroyed by bombs and do some mission with the local church.

There was a need for everything and we were working hard every day with building construction. Then on the last day, one of our tools, an electronic saw was twisted so we could not use it anymore and we still needed to finish a house before we could leave, and we had to finish this house or it would never be finished! So three of us decided to try and go down in the city center to find a new one, even though the chances were very small. After a few minutes walk we decided to pray for the twisted metal saw, which was round, but not flat any more. There was a guy who was holding it in his hands and we prayed a very short prayer and when we looked at the saw again, it was not twisted any more, but totally flat! AMEN! What a miracle! The impossible happened when we needed it. I tell you it was so funny to see the saw become normal again! So powerful. And God can give you a miracle too, God can send his power into you and make a miracle. Become like a child and believe.....believe and have faith like a child... even the smallest faith is enough....God loves you, live for Him with passion.

I have a divine word for you! I urge you to go and read it!

When Jesus walked on the water in the Sea of Galilee it was by supernatural power through the Holy Spirit....This power from Jesus is still active today!

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

That means that He is indeed the same and works the same way and nothing is impossible. Have faith in Jesus, trust in Him, and believe in Him. What did Peter do? He looked at Jesus and walked out from the boat without sinking! He trusted Jesus, but when He lost focus and looked at the water around him, he was filled with fear and started to sink...But Jesus grabbed his hand and saved him.

Nothing is impossible for God. Look to Jesus and let God's miracle working power be activated in you through faith!

Back in 2000, I went to Kosovo to help build up the country after the civil war. When
we arrived at the border of Kosovo, the driver who came from Skopje, in Macedonia,
seemed very friendly. But when we passed by the passport control he showed a
whole new side of his personality! And right away he started to speed up and drive
like crazy. The roads were very small. There were a lot of holes in the road from all
the bombs and also a lot of traffic, but he didn’t care at all. I guess he thought that the
road was a high way but with only one lane! I thought that I would get a heart attack
and that we would smash into a car driving in the opposite direction. We were so
close to hitting other vehicles at full speed. Many times there was not room enough
for the car to go behind another car or truck on the road, when there were other cars
driving in the other direction, so he just kept speeding up! And the cars in the other
direction would have to force their cars out in the grass verge!

Many times I had to close my eyes and pray! It was scary. But I was on a mission and
had a task to accomplish! No body told me about crazy drivers before we went on the
trip! But that is what mission and adventure is all about. And if you want to make a
difference in this world you may expect to experience funny and hilarious things
happening around you! You are on the move and will meet many new people, so
bring the positive attitude. Bring it on!

With 25 people from Denmark and the US I had voluntary joined this trip. We came
in the beginning of June about a year after the first UN soldiers went into Kosovo. So
it was still kind of a war zone. I have never seen so many military vehicles and
soldiers.

The Danish Military base was just on the outskirts of the city, while the American
military base was a little further away.

There were France, English, Danish and US soldiers in the city. The trip to Mitrovica
in Kosovo was mainly to help some of the locals with building construction after all
the bombs. I have never seen so many destroyed buildings as I did in this city. How
sad it was. So we had to remove the remaining parts of the walls in a destroyed
house, so a new one could be built. We also helped to construct other buildings. I
have never worked so hard. But it was great and a huge blessing.

In our breaks, we would play soccer with some of the kids on the street. It was hard
for me to remember that I was in Europe with all the poverty and everything out of
order. But I knew that I was making a change even though it was hard. After a couple
of weeks we left again with the same driver! But I was touched by what I saw and
would never be the same again.

There is a huge need for compassionate super heroes. The need for love and comfort
will always be here. The need for someone who really cares is so big. I have been in
Romania a few times and it hurts me to se these very poor people in the small
villages living in plastic houses and with dirty clothes full of holes. But it could be
anywhere. I have been in L.A and I have seen the same thing. People living in awful
shelters or in tents in downtown Los Angeles! It is the same in Portugal and even in
Scotland and many more places. We just need to open up our eyes to see the need. It
can be so many different things: from becoming a school teacher that helps kids with
learning difficulties, to becoming a Christian politician with an eye for the needs, or a
TV news journalist, or a humanitarian worker and missionary.

A Phenomenal Global Trend
Loneliness, emptiness, suffering, sorrow, sickness, fear, despair, war, terror and
poverty... the list goes on. These may be some of the struggles many of us face each
day. No matter where you are in the world, the imperfections of life have their way of
getting to you. However, the greatest battle one faces is the battle from within - it is
the battle one faces alone. The yearning for hope, for an answer - for a Savior has
driven millions of people all over the world to search within anything that is
supernatural and spiritual. Unlike anytime in history, there is such great spiritual
hunger in the world. The quest for faith and hope and the search for supernatural and
spiritual experiences are now a growing phenomenal global trend.
And what about the churches? Amazingly, numerous Christian churches all over the
world have been experiencing revivals like never before and are continuously
growing with hundreds of thousands of believers! For many of these churches,
miracles are just a part of everyday life. There are evidences of sick people being
healed and even the dead being raised!

Although this may all sound unbelievable they are nonetheless true. How can we
maintain this? Some of these miracles are recorded and have been medically proved
by doctors and experts. Looking at it from a Biblical perspective, the Bible is full of
miracles from beginning to end. Jesus, the Son of God, healed the sick and gave new
hope wherever he went and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever
(Hebrews 13:8).

There still can be miracles!
When I was 18 years old, we were preparing for a trip with the ship AGAPE. After
one week at the school, I became very sick. I had a very bad flu. I was thinking about
traveling home to my parents to recover, but then the next evening I talked to another
student about how sick I was (Yes, I felt sorry for myself).

After my talk, he promised to pray for me at seven o’clock at the prayer meeting.
About two minutes to seven PM, I went to the bathroom to get some water on my
face. And just before I threw water in my face, I felt completely well. I looked at my
watch and it showed two minutes pass seven! The rest of the evening I walked
around and tried to feel my old sickness again, but I couldn’t, because I was totally
and completely healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Later on, the guy who was leading
the prayer group told me that they prayed for me first at seven a clock!
I believe in miracles because I have seen and experienced it!

He will touch your life as well no matter what your need is. God has a purpose with
your life, that’s why you were born. And now He wants to know you! Do you know
him?

Jesus died on the cross, and rose from the dead three days later by the power of the
Holy Spirit. He has so much love to give you. He wants the best for you. He is a
miracle working God. Where there is darkness, He creates light. He can turn difficult
situations into good. He will change the world for you, because He loves you. He
healed the blind. He healed those who could not walk and those with leprosy. He is
here today with His presence. You cannot see him but you can feel him! Ask Jesus to
come into our life and save your soul. And you will experience the peace of God
from the Holy Spirit.

Whenever we find the presence of the Holy Spirit, we will always find the
supernatural.

I believe that you have a great destiny and future ahead of you. But I also believe that

The return of Christ is the day where Christ will bring home every person who truly
believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God. The signs of his return are getting
stronger. Are you ready? The greatest supernatural power is in Christ Jesus. He is the
ONLY way to fellowship with God. He is the only one who can give you a deep
peace within; he is the only way to eternal life.

Repent and turn around to Jesus and ask Him to forgive your sins and cleanse you
with His powerful Blood. Turn around and give your life 100% to Jesus. The purpose
with your life is to know and follow Jesus Christ. In spite of your sins, God loves
you. He wants to save you and give you eternal life.

We live in a world, where something new today is old tomorrow, and where reality
television is a part of "real life”. Many people actually believe what they are
watching on television, from "reality television” to some weird talk show. All these
shows remind me of watching puppets on the Muppet Show, but just with living
actors. We also watch soup operas which takes a person into a fantasy world.
Millions are influenced by the hundreds of series that run 24/7. We are trying to
fulfill our contact with normal people though chat rooms on the Internet, even though
there is no fulfillment in it. People are in the search for love and closeness and
interaction with other people. But we can’t find it when the computer is our best
friend!

If a man does not make new acquaintances as he advances through life, he will
soon find himself alone. A man should keep his friendships in constant repair.

The key to achieve a good life is to find good friends.

Good friends are so important in our time because we get so many impressions from
all kinds of places. A good friend will tell you the truth and will support you no
matter what happens in your life. A computer can’t talk about feelings and it doesn’t
know how you are doing. A good friend knows. It is so important to find and to keep
good friends. But remember that it is a hard task to find a good friend because it takes
commitment from both sides. It is just like a marriage, it takes commitment and
seriousness.

Do not take good friends for granted. It is easier to win in the lottery than to find a
good friend!

From the age of nine to sixteen, I grew up in a ghetto district in one of the suburbs of
Copenhagen. There were a lot of gangs and drug dealers. And I remember lots of
young people smoking hash and using other drugs. I remember a few years after I
started to play soccer, that our two coaches showed up totally drunk and intoxicated
by drugs, and they never got fired! Sometimes the captain of the team had to give us
the strategy for the game because our coaches were unable to do it, and we were only
around twelve years old! I even remember some of the older players in the club,
standing outside the club house high on drugs before their games.
In this area I had to find my friends! And believe it or not I found some very good
friends. Even though I did not smoke, drink or doing drugs. I refused to fall into
group pressure and I did not touch alcohol and drugs, and most of my friends did not
either. I found some great friends that had the same idea of not doing drugs. And at
parties people respected me for not drinking. I was steadfast and stubborn and did not
move from my personal conviction, and with that I won respect. They knew what I
was standing for. Even though I was a small kid with big eye glasses, I was hugely
respected by the others students in school. I was not mocked even though I had all the
criteria’s! Everybody does stupid things in school and I did as well. I got into fights,
but I decided at a young age to act positive and be a good influence and be a good
friend to others.

Jesus was and is a good friend. He is always here and ready to comfort you. In your
most dark moment He is right next to you. In your most happy hour He is just next to
you. He is our friend and we can always call on him. He is all present. What a friend!
You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants,
because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you
friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to
you.

John 15:14-15

A good healthy relationship is a must. They're just as important on our jobs and
schools as they are in our personal lives. So keep you relations and don’t burn your
bridges.

Here are a few important guidelines.

Be the best friend you can be and you will get the best friends as well

Be Yourself:
Do your best friends know who you really are, or is it just superficial and shallow?
Be yourself and don’t be afraid of showing your emotions. When you are yourself,
you will be more relaxed, natural and believe me, people can see it in your face! If
you trust your friend enough to just be yourself, and then your friend will trust you
just as much. You will have an open and honest friendship where you don’t have to
pretend and be someone else.

Love Your Friends:

The Bible says that a friend loves at all times. We can all be disappointed with
friends and family. But that doesn’t justify you from expelling them from your inner
circle. Give them a chance, forgive them, and love your friends at all times.

Commitment:
Work on your friendship and keep appointments. Do not arrive an hour too late for
the movie or cancel one minute before you had a date. Keep in touch with your
friends even though the two of you are far away from each other. This can be the hard
job of a friendship. If you are suddenly far away it might just seem easier to give it
up, but don’t! Keep your friendship you never know what will happen. Stay in
contact. Write a short email once in a while, call them and visit them.

Trust:
Keep a secret. That’s a really god idea! Don’t talk behind your friends’ back. And
don’t talk behind any ones back! How can you expect to find a friend if you talk
behind the back of others? When people see you talk bad about others, they don’t
want you to become their friend, because they are afraid that you will talk behind
their backs.

Support:
Encourage your friend. We all have bad times and need a cheerful word from a
friend. And if you start this very good habit and learn how to encourage people on
your way in life you will get many friends. When you are positive and encouraging
people will be attracted to you.

Advice:
Tell your friend the truth. If your friend keeps coming too late for an appointment,
then tell him/her there is a problem here. A friend is honest and open.

Listen now!
A true friend has the time to listen. Do not be shallow and superficial. Show empathy
and compassion. If you listen to your friend today, he will listen to you tomorrow!
You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other

people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.

This world needs big dreamers and achievers that will make a change in our world,
and you are one of them! Yes you. You have a great potential within you, and you
have the choice to write and create history. Gods’ purpose with your life is so
overwhelming and good. Grab it!

Why not just invent the future!

Do you have the winning attitude?

We all have the ability to see our dreams come true. The power of a dream is
powerful in the hands of a person with the right positive attitude; the winning
attitude! A dream that comes true is not just pure luck; but it is rather hard work,
perseverance, and a positive mind. The winning attitude is a positive mind. Do you
think positive thoughts or is your mind filed with skepticism and negative thoughts
that destroy every single dream? If you want to see your dreams come true, start to
think positive and look for an opportunity in what might not look too great.
Do you see the cup half empty or half full? Start in the small and you will experience
what is inside of you grow, and become a beautiful tree with lots of good fruits. It all
starts with a small seed, and then you feed that little seed with positive thoughts and
then it will start to grow.

A dream is not just a goal you will see fulfilled in the future. No, a dream and a goal
is a journey in which you go though adventures and hard work and enjoy your life.
You need to take some risks in life. Take the chance and do the impossible and get
the experience of being on un-safe ground. That is where you grow and you will see a
side of yourself you have never seen before. You need to get out of your comfort
zone and step out into the water.

I remember when I was a kid, I was really afraid of rollercoaster’s. When I was 18
years of age I had the opportunity to sail with a sailing ship for a whole year and
though that year I just had to get used to all the waves and winds. Well I grew
up in Scandinavia where we have the sea almost next to our front doors! And I have
never been seasick, but still I was afraid of heights and big waves. But on the ship I
tried it all; I forced myself to climb the huge masthead way up in the air. Off course I
had a safe line! But I realized that I loved it, and stayed up there and have kept going
back since then.

Sometimes we experience hurricanes while being on the sea. I often had to climb the
mast to pull the sail. And while the ship was going crazy jumping up and down and
even under the water and us being on the deck. It was insane! But I still loved it. It
was a great challenge that really helped me develop my personality and to believe in
myself. Since that time, I have continued to go on adventures, and keep on dreaming.
I believe that adventures can shape your life, and it is never too late to go on one. Do
not tell yourself that you are too young or to old, because it is never too late.
Get out of your comfort zone!

You need to get out of your comfort zone. You need to do something that will "shake
up” your life. Don’t be lazy, sitting in front of the Internet the whole day and playing
online games. It is so easy to do nothing; actually that’s the easiest thing in the world.
But to take a step in "faith” takes courage. If you do not think you have courage, then
just do it anyways! You need to get out and do whatever makes you shake from the
inside! You do not need to go to Kosovo or to some planet out in space. It can be the
simplest thing, like helping distributing food to the homeless or cleaning up the beach
for trash. The one thing I know for sure is that it will change your life. As you step
out, doors will be open to you in life and your dreams will be "taken care of”.
Helping others is the best thing you can do. You will start to see things from another
perspective. Your own dreams will suddenly have a new focus. Your dreams will be
sharper and clearer!

See the invisible, doing the impossible.
See what no one else is seeing
Think what no one else is thinking.
Do what no one else is doing.
Make a difference.

Many years ago I heard this quote, "Heroes see through their eyes what others miss.
They see through their spiritual eyes. Heroes see parts of the world that others miss.”
Keep your eyes open for even the smallest opportunity. You never know what might
happen next. It doesn’t have to be the thing you actually dream about, but maybe it
will lead to that dream. On an adventure you don’t know what happens next, but it is
exciting. Take the change and unlock your potential. Keep your eyes wide open for
the needs of this world.

Jesus Freak Supporters
I am a big soccer fan and have been inside many stadiums. My favorite club that is in
Copenhagen has brought me lots of attention. Then when I was around 20 years old, I
got the crazy idea of making a new supporter group/fraction. I am a Jesus Freak, so
why not just make a Jesus Freak Supporter group. It all actually started when I
bought a soccer jersey from the club, and had them to write Jesus Freak on the back. I
tell you, people looked at me and asked questions. I was standing among the most
hardcore supporters with my Jesus Freak jersey!

Jesus Freaks!
Then one day I decided to create a Jesus Freak Supporter group for the soccer club.
And while searching though the internet I found another Dane who was looking for
others who wanted to start a Jesus Freak Supporters group as well. We met and
started the first official Jesus Freak Supporter Group in our favorite soccer club in
Copenhagen, Denmark. Our group grew fast and we even made a magazine and website
as well. The media wanted to know more about us. They interviewed us and we
came in many nation wide newspapers. It was really a great experience. I had a
dream and it came true. It was hard of course, but I was driven with energy because I
had a passion and wanted to see it accomplished. You can do the same. See one of your dreams come true by the right attitude and hard
work.

Please take one more look at that quotation. Keep it somewhere and remember it! As
I started key two, which talked about the mind and out attitude, I wanted to end with
it. It is so highly important, and maybe the most important of all when we talk about
our life.

We need to watch our thoughts. Are you a positive influence on yourself and other
people? Start to think positive and visualize your dreams come true in your mind.
There is hidden power in your mind. God created your mind, so please use it!
Surround yourself with positive people, who are full of energy, and this will make the
journey easier. Getting the support from your friends and family is also important.
Maybe they think some of your dreams are a little weird, but that doesn’t matter!

Think big, talk big, act big. Because we have a big God.

Our words:
We need to watch our words. The power of the word that comes out of our mouth is
bigger than we realize. Even an innocent joke we say can have devastating
consequences or a tiny comment can make the world go mad. Watch your tongue. It
will be your life. If you are always negative your will have a negative life where
everything is bad. Even the weather. "Now it is to cold….. Now it is to warm……” if
what comes out of your mouth is always complaining and negative words you will
surely be depressed! The people you hang out with will be depressed as well. Break
that circle and renew your thoughts and words. Be an encouragement instead of a
discouragement! If your friend is always complaining, then tell them to stop for a
minute and start to speak good and positive things to his/her heart. Keep doing it, but
refuse to listen to all the rubbish all the time.

Friends are important, and we should listen to them when they need us just to listen.
We should also be mature to tell our friends if they are always complaining and need
an attitude adjustment. What comes out of your mouth? Is that positive? Is it building
people up or breaking them down? You have the choice to build with your mouth!
What does come out of your mouth? The next time you talk, try and listen to
yourself, and see what comes out. If it’s mostly negative then change your
vocabulary.

Every word you speak will have an impact on your mind and actions! So be positive,
talk positive. Do not fear obstacles, use them instead. Tell yourself that you can do it,
over and over again. Train yourself in using some of these positive words:
I am a child of God! - I’m a winner – I can do the impossible – I will – I can change
anything! – It’s easy! – I love my family – God is giving me peace – I have no fear –I
can do it - God is my coach!

This is closely connected to a winning attitude. So mind your words.

Our Actions and habits:
Beware of your actions because they could become your habit, which then could lead
to a change in our personality and character. I’ve heard if you do the same thing for
21 days it could end up creating a habit in your life. If you take some exercises for 21
days, you will properly continue doing it. So if you complain about the same thing
for 21 day you will continue to complain! And you will be like a complaining
jukebox! Or you can decide to be a person of positive influence. Why not try it. Give
it a chance and create some good and healthy habits in your life that will be
integrated in your character. People are looking for others who have a strong
character and who are a role model.

Habit and character will create your life. And the great thing is that you can help
yourself! You have such a great future ahead of you, and you can do the impossible.
I pray that the great potential in your life will be released. Start to dream, and do not
be afraid of the impossible. The impossible is possible. God put something in you to
help you on your life adventure. So, as I said earlier, step out on the water and walk
on it!

Qualifications come when you follow the purpose, your dreams and goals. Your
potential will be unlocked
Don’t be discouraged, but keep moving. Don’t give up. Presidents and leaders were
ordinary men, but they kept dreaming and trying even though they met opposition
and faced discouragement.

Commit your work to the LORD, and then your plans will succeed.

Life is full of rehearsed habits! Some of them are bad and some of them are good. So are the choices we make. Fundamentally, I believe that the choices we make will form our lives in a negative or positive direction. Every choice we make has a consequence for tomorrow and further ahead.
We have the ability in us to choose and create our future. This ability is individually gifted and every individual can do the impossible! Every person in this world is an influence in one way or another. And we all are influenced by others.
To create a good life I believe that you need to first and foremost make right and good decisions. You need to be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say that you did it with integrity and only for the good. We all have to make difficult choices where we are not in control of what will happen, and that is good! We are not gods! We don’t have to know everything, because we will not know everything, that’s a fact. Maybe we think we do, well I have news for you then, that’s a lie! But I believe if we act with good and positive intension's when we make choices this world will be a better place.
Many people only make decisions based on the "now” feelings, but is that good? Feelings are a nice thing but if we act on feelings all the time then the world will go mad, if it is not already. We need to act with integrity and compassion towards others.
The friends that we have and the people that surround us will determine who we are and what kind of life we have. We have the ability to find good friends. But good relationships just don’t come overnight. We need to work on it. It is hard but the fruits are the best in life!
You and I can have a good life and see our dreams come through because of the right choices. The power of a dream is powerful and you should dream. This world needs dreamers and people who are acting on it! You have such a great future ahead of you and you can do the impossible. I pray that the great potential in you will be released. What is destiny? I believe that destiny is a thing between good choices and divine intervention. I deeply believe that God is in control and that He wants us to live life to the full and enjoy it.

He is a good God who wants the best for us. He knew about us when you and I were in the womb of our mother. There is a great purpose for your life - no doubt about it and you have your free will to choose. Isn't that great?

Since the beginning of this world billions of people have had the ability to make their own choices. Some of them were bad, very bad and some of them were good. I believe that many of the things we see in our world today are a consequence of peoples' choices. This might sound disturbing and worrying, but think about all the good and positive things as well. You for example!

You have a great destiny and a great future ahead of you. You can make a change and be a huge influence. Make good choices and find a wonderful destiny, preplanned ahead of you!

I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart. . .

You cannot do whatever you feel you want to do. If you base your life only on current emotions your life will be horrible. Because some days your emotions and feelings will be sky rocketing and you think you can do anything. Then there are other days, when you are licking the walking street and it's almost impossible to look yourself in the eyes!

These two very different emotions will make you chose two very different decisions. Listen to your emotions, and consider your decision and the consequences before you do it! Then do what is well-balanced. You cannot base any relationship on feelings alone. I know that feelings are a good thing. But if we look at relationships we need to have more than just feelings. There is a difference between being in love and love itself. Being in love is a temporary thing, but actually loving someone in spite of differences, even when everyday life sets in, is the lasting kind of love. This is not based on spur of the moment feeling, but on deep respect, affection and choice. Some think it is just OK to find another partner if the feelings go away.

That is so sad and a huge misunderstanding of the human mind. Don't get me wrong I love feelings and it's a great thing, but if I only act on them and make my choices "with" them I'm in trouble! I need to go beyond my emotions and feelings when I make choices. If I go to a huge shopping mall I will get tempted to buy all sorts of things. At least the stores try to affect my feelings at "that moment" when I pass by the store. And maybe if I can't control that feeling, I will end up buying the whole mall and go bankrupt. To sum up the point, make choices with both your heart and mind.

You life is full of choices and your destiny is a choice! You have the free will to create your life. The decisions you make can have an impact on entire countries. What starts out with a small thought can end up being your future.

For example, people like Bill Gates, George Washington, Martin Luther King, and the Pope had to make some choices to become who they are. I am not saying that you need to be like Bill Gates or become the new Pope. You just need to be yourself and live your life to the fullest and be the "new" you!

I remember when I was 18 years old. I had to make a decision about what I was going to do with my future. As it is for most teenagers and young people, it can be hard to figure out especially that! I wasn't sure at all what I should do. I had thought about working in a printing house, but the thought bothered me. But one day as I read in the bible I felt in a very powerful way that I had to sign up for a "Christian discipleship training school" which I had heard about. And even though I applied very late I got the chance to attend the school where they trained us to go out and sail with a big ship and teach others about the love of God. The school was an opportunity for young people to sail in the very beautiful seas of Denmark and Sweden. The ship was called AGAPE which means "God's love" in Greek. When we cast anchor in the harbors, we usually had some time to talk with people about faith in God and help them with any questions they might have. We also had great meetings in different harbors and in city squares with hundreds attending. We even went to places where there was troubled youth as well. During that year at sea, I developed an enormous desire to work with people and help people in one way or another. I did not base my decision on this one feeling. But slowly I got the desire that I wanted to use my life helping others and show them the powerful love of Christ. And with that desire in my heart, I have gotten even more crazy dreams that I want to achieve.

Before I went on the ship, I had no ideas for what I would experience. I really just did it because the Holy Spirit told me too, and I took the chance. Maybe you are worrying about your future and thinking about your destiny. But my advice to you is to just take it easy. Read your Bible and pray. Travel somewhere, get to know some NEW friends and remember to keep the good old ones. J Do something different and you will see the world from another point of view.

You are not only influenced by your own choices, friends, family and your dog; but television is properly the source that impacts you the most. We live in a global culture where everybody seems to do the same thing! Cultures are getting the same and the world is getting smaller (especially the western world). Life issues and problems are the same no matter if you are in Europe or in the United States of America. We listen to the same music on MTV, watch the same movies, some TV shows, and TV series and we almost eat the same kind of food. At this moment, the whole world is getting globalize. I like the thought of "global culture" but I can see a problem, and that is that the media is becoming kind of a role model for our generation. The media influences us and tells us how to live our lives. We all have the choice not to be controlled by the media or other people who can influence us in a bad way. Try to turn off the television and Internet connection and you will see how addicted you are!

Your destiny is worth far more than a stupid soap opera or www! If you want to become a history maker, then it's your choice.

Integrity: what's that?
Definition of Integrity:

Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change.

One of the greatest qualities in a man or women is integrity. As you can see in the definition for integrity, it is about honest and moral values. It's about doing what is right. If you build your life with high moral values and honesty, people will respect you. They will be able to look you in the eyes and say you did all you could do. It will give you a strong personality and a great destiny. If you look below, here I will give you some key words to help you as you continue to read:

· Make other people succeed.
· Be a real role-model.
· Encourage people around you and build them up.
· Do not humiliate anyone.
· Forgive people for what they might have done to you.
· Keep up your self management.
· Do not gossip.
· Do to others what you would have them do to you.
· Do what you say and keep your word.
· Do not pass any confidential information to others.
· Whatever you do, do it with the right motives.
· Believe in God and trust him with all your heart.
· Do not lie!

As an easy guideline you can actually use the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament. Read over them, think about them and use them!

Definition of a role model:
A person who serves as a model in a particular behavioral or social role for another person to emulate.

A role model is someone worthy of imitation!

Every person needs a good role model, a person who is worth following. But who is your role model? Is that someone you know? Does the person have a positive influence on your life? This world is looking for people to follow. This world is looking for heroes. Usually people look for role models in television from movies and series to the world of music and sports. People who appear on TV are looked at as big stars and heroes. But are they what they pretend? Some of them are and some of them are NOT!

Almost every day when I go on the Internet to read my newspaper, I get shocked when I read stories about so called role models. Some of these stars are acting like they own the world and can do whatever they want without realizing that millions of people who are looking at them. Millions of teenagers are impacted by what they are doing. Millions of teenagers are imitating what their stars are doing. I dont want to mention any names, but some of these people have such a bad destructive lifestyle that only destroys and kills. This might sound harsh, but its the truth! No wonder why so many teenagers are suffering from depression and anorexia.

These stars are showing a life that is not normal and no-one can live up to that (or down to that!). They have a perfect body (after 25 surgeries!) but tell me how on earth is that normal? They are doing all kinds of things on the stage that only belongs
in an x rated movie. And that is supposed to be normal? I dont think so.

Everybody is looking for a hero and role model on television. Its like, if it is on television, it is the truth and the real thing and nobody can question it. But instead of looking for role models in television, we should look for real life heroes in our real life.

Who are you following? Who is your hero? Are you living someone else image? Do you dare to be yourself? Do you dare to be different? Are you hanging around with a group of people where you try to be as cool as possible and where you are caring a mask, so that no one can see who you really are?
I have some advice for you; Do not swim with the stream of dead fish. But create your own steam of life and be a leader and a role model yourself.

A good role model could be you or somebody else. It is someone who acts and believes in the good of a person. A real life hero is not wearing a mask; he/she doesent have to be someone else, but is just like he/she is. Be yourself and people will
love you for it and follow you!

You can be a leader!

You can show the way and be a role model. Stand up and make an impact youre your life. People are waiting for someone like you to step up. To be the positive influence you can be. You can be a great leader if you dare to step up in front and
lead the way.

Becoming a great influence and leader in this world takes time and is a few steps each day. Few steps of good choices that influence the people around you, and then you will become a role model.

God has a great plan for your life and He wants you to be a leader of influence. The best that you can ever do with your life is to give it all to him, every small and big thing in your life. Staying close to Jesus will make you succeed in life. Staying close to God will make you succeed in life.

People will follow you if they see the good in you. So live your life with good and healthy choices. Think about the consequences that your choices will have. Be a supportive and encouraging friend, show with your life that you care about others.

Guide Keys: Dont wear a mask! Just be yourself. Help others with support. If someone talks bad about your friend and you hear it, then stand up and rebuke
them. Protect your friends and they will protect you.

The prophet in his day is fully accepted of God and totally rejected by men.

Years back, Dr. Gregory Mantle was right when he said, "No man can be fully accepted until he is totally rejected." The prophet of the Lord is aware of both these experiences. They are his "brand name."

The group, challenged by the prophet because they are smug and comfortably insulated from a perishing world in their warm but untested theology, is not likely to vote him "Man of the year" when he refers to them as habituates of the synagogue of Satan!

The prophet comes to set up that which is upset. His work is to call into line those who are out of line! He is unpopular because he opposes the popular in morality and spirituality. In a day of faceless politicians and voiceless preachers, there is not a more urgent national need than that we cry to God for a prophet! The function of the prophet, as Austin-Sparks once said, "has almost always been that of recovery."

The prophet is God's detective seeking for a lost treasure. The degree of his effectiveness is determined by his measure of unpopularity. Compromise is not known to him.

He has no price tags.
He is totally "otherworldly."
He is unquestionably controversial and unpardonably hostile.
He marches to another drummer!
He breathes the rarefied air of inspiration.
He is a "seer" who comes to lead the blind.
He lives in the heights of God and comes into the valley with a "thus saith the Lord."
He shares some of the foreknowledge of God and so is aware of impending judgment.
He lives in "splendid isolation."
He is forthright and outright, but he claims no birthright.
His message is "repent, be reconciled to God or else...!"
His prophecies are parried.
His truth brings torment, but his voice is never void.
He is the villain of today and the hero of tomorrow.
He is excommunicated while alive and exalted when dead!
He is dishonored with epithets when breathing and honored with epitaphs when dead.
He is a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, but few "make the grade" in his class.
He is friendless while living and famous when dead.
He is against the establishment in ministry; then he is established as a saint by posterity.
He eats daily the bread of affliction while he ministers, but he feeds the Bread of Life to those who listen.
He walks before men for days but has walked before God for years.
He is a scourge to the nation before he is scourged by the nation.
He announces, pronounces, and denounces!
He has a heart like a volcano and his words are as fire.
He talks to men about God.
He carries the lamp of truth amongst heretics while he is lampooned by men.
He faces God before he faces men, but he is self-effacing.
He hides with God in the secret place, but he has nothing to hide in the marketplace.
He is naturally sensitive but supernaturally spiritual.
He has passion, purpose and pugnacity.
He is ordained of God but disdained by men.

Our national need at this hour is not that the dollar recover its strength, or that we save face over the Watergate affair, or that we find the answer to the ecology problem. We need a God-sent prophet!

I am bombarded with talk or letters about the coming shortages in our national life: bread, fuel, energy. I read between the lines from people not practiced in scaring folk. They feel that the "seven years of plenty" are over for us. The "seven years of famine" are ahead. But the greatest famine of all in this nation at this given moment is a FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORDS OF GOD (Amos 8:11).

Millions have been spent on evangelism in the last twenty-five years. Hundreds of gospel messages streak through the air over the nation every day. Crusades have been held; healing meetings have made a vital contribution. "Come-outers" have "come out" and settled, too, without a nation-shaking revival. Organizers we have. Skilled preachers abound. Multi-million dollar Christian organizations straddle the nation. BUT where, oh where, is the prophet? Where are the incandescent men fresh from the holy place? Where is the Moses to plead in fasting before the holiness of the Lord for our moldy morality, our political perfidy, and sour and sick spirituality?

GOD'S MEN ARE IN HIDING UNTIL THE DAY OF THEIR SHOWING FORTH. They will come. The prophet is violated during his ministry, but he is vindicated by history.

There is a terrible vacuum in evangelical Christianity today. The missing person in our ranks is the prophet. The man with a terrible earnestness. The man totally otherworldly. The man rejected by other men, even other good men, because they consider him too austere, too severely committed, too negative and unsociable.

Let him be as plain as John the Baptist.
Let him for a season be a voice crying in the wilderness of modern theology and stagnant "churchianity."
Let him be as selfless as Paul the apostle.
Let him, too, say and live, "This ONE thing I do."
Let him reject ecclesiastical favors.
Let him be self-abasing, nonself-seeking, nonself-projecting, nonself-righteous, nonself-glorying, nonself-promoting.
Let him say nothing that will draw men to himself but only that which will move men to God.
Let him come daily from the throne room of a holy God, the place where he has received the order of the day.
Let him, under God, unstop the ears of the millions who are deaf through the clatter of shekels milked from this hour of material mesmerism.
Let him cry with a voice this century has not heard because he has seen a vision no man in this century has seen.

God send us this Moses to lead us from the wilderness of crass materialism, where the rattlesnakes of lust bite us and where enlightened men, totally blind spiritually, lead us to an ever-nearing Armageddon.
God have mercy! Send us PROPHETS!

JERUSALEM, Israel - A group of Israelis released a music video mocking the crew of the Mavi Mamara, the Turkish-owned flagship that led the "blockade busting" Gaza flotilla at the beginning of the week.

Produced by Latma, which creates Hebrew-language political satire for the Internet, the video features the Mavi Marmar's captain and crew singing about how they "con the world."

"We think this is an important Israeli contribution to the discussion of recent events," Caroline Glick said on her website," and we hope you distribute it far and wide."

Meanwhile on Friday morning, Israel Radio reported that the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) had uncovered more evidence confirming the flagship's lethal intent.

Further investigation of the ship revealed gun-sights and ammunition clips not compatible with IDF weapons, along with coded messages about kidnapping and killing soldiers.

Passenger recordings of their intent to become shahids (martyrs for the cause of Islam) were also discovered.

The findings confirmed statements by al-Jazerra cameraman Andre Abu Khalil, a passenger on the ship, who gave Reuters an eyewitness account.

Khalil said about 20 Turkish men, using metal pipes, slingshots and clubs, bludgeoned four soldiers sufficiently to drag them to a lower deck.

According to Khalil, when the soldiers finally received permission to use live ammunition against the attackers, one of the "activists" announced by megaphone that they would release the four soldiers in exchange for emergency medical treatment for wounded passengers.

Khalil said an Israeli Knesset member, likely Arab MK Haneen Zoabi, served as mediator.

The wounded soldiers were brought to the upper deck and transported by helicopter to hospitals.

We are now home in Sweden again after attending my grandmom and grandpa's(Laura & Hans Haahr Hansen) 60 years wedding anniversary also called diamond wedding. Married for 60 years! That is amazing. And they are still going strong and my grandpa is still driving his car! They got a personal royal greeting from the queen of Denmark (Queen Margrethe). It was a great time with the family. We were able to share about our mission work as well.

Town Bans Church from In-Home Meetings and Bible study groups! (there will be much more of this...)

Members of a small Arizona church are fighting to continue holding Bible studies in their homes after a city ordinance banned them from doing so.

The city of Gilbert, Ariz., has ordered a group of seven adults to stop gathering for Bible studies in a private home because such meetings are forbidden by the city's zoning codes.

The issue was brought to a head when city officials wrote a letter to a pastor and his wife informing them they had 10 days to quit having the meetings in their private home.

End-Times Teachers Say This Is ‘Rapture Generation’

Speakers at a recent prophecy conference proclaimed that this is "the rapture generation" as they warned of a looming one-world government and attacks on Israel that could hasten end-times events.

It's the End of the World, and We Love It

We're flocking to movies about the last days, even in the midst of a penny-pinching recession. Why?

Mar. 6, 2010 - A near-epidemic flow of end-of-the-world movies in 2009 is Hollywood's response to the distress of these difficult days and the need for hope. The writer of this article lists the many apocalyptic films released last year, and notes that there are more coming. He illustrates the psychology behind the trend by noting a scene near the end of The Road. A father and son stand on the edge of a sea after a long post-apocalyptic journey. The 10-year-old boy asks, "What's on the other side?" His weary dad says "Nothing." The boy counters with the thought that there must be something.

Wanting to keep his son's hope alive, the man relents. "Maybe there's a father and his son, and they're sitting on the beach too."

Amidst the poverty of the Great Depression, with unemployment running as high as 25 percent, approximately two-thirds of the population-went to the movies every week.

At the end of the article the writer returns to the question, "What's on the other side?" He ends with this answer:

Hollywood may not know that the answer has in fact been revealed, that a Father and his Son wait on the other shore.

Thousands attend evangelistic street crusade in the Philippines!

The Danish evangelist Peter Capili Hansen and his team from Sweden and Denmark recently had an evangelistic outreach with humanitarian relief in the Philippines.

Evangelist Peter has been involved with evangelistic mission and relief work in many places in Europe, Ethiopia and Philippines since he started to preach the gospel when he was 17 years old. Philippines is a place where Peter and his wife, Abby especially love to be in. They have literally been across the Philippines preaching in cities, villages, jungles and open squares and seen hundreds of people saved and transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Most recently, they went to Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu. Alongside the gospel miracle crusade, they also gave rice and food to poor and homeless children and their families in cooperation with a local ministry called "Feeding the Children" founded by Pastor Robert Cuenca.

The crusade was held at the parking lot of a shopping mall for three nights. There were many churches from different denominations involved in this special evangelistic crusade right there on the parking lot of Marina Mall. They put up a stage, chairs and speakers. During the meetings more and more people came by to listen. There was a lady the first night that was out shopping and while she was on her way home, she noticed the crusade meeting on the parking lot and she got curious and wanted to see and listen. In the prayer for the sick, she got healed in her back. All pain disappeared!

Evangelist Peter was preaching a very radical gospel sermon that night and many people committed their lives to Jesus that night. After the service more people claimed to be healed in their bodies.

The rumours spread about the meetings and the following two nights around 8000 people in all attended the meetings on the shopping mall parking lot! First, Evangelist Peter was speaking about Christ as our healer and that Jesus could heal even today. Then he prayed for the sick and many experienced a healing touch in their bodies. After praying for the sick he started to preach the gospel with great boldness about salvation, hell, repentance, sin and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. Hundreds of people responded to the gospel preaching and wanted to follow Jesus and believe in Him.

Peter explained: "This is what evangelism is about, being out there in the street, just like in the bible. Being face to face with non-believers who did not expect to hear about Jesus. I want to bring the gospel to the people and street crusades are a great tool and I wish more Christians do this. Preaching the full gospel and healing the sick where people are."

In these three crusade nights in Lapu-Lapu, the Word of God was planted in the hearts of thousands and many heard the full gospel being preached for the first time.

Alongside the crusade, the team also visited the dumpsites, a public school and a feeding program for homeless children. In these different locations they preached the gospel to thousands of children and gave out food packages as well.

After the mission on Lapu-Lapu they went on to another Island called Dumaguete where they continued to preach the gospel in a crusade by the beach! They also gave out gifts for hundreds of kids and rice bags for families in the villages around the beach resort. Many people publicly declared that they wanted to follow Jesus Christ and were added to the church.

Peter Capili Hansen is already planning the next outreach and has a hope that they will be able to reach out in these kinds of outreaches every month.
